Working for Third Order Effects
Q1: How much does Third Order Effects pay? A1: We pay commensurate with your experience in the areas needed and considering the locations in which you work, all based on the scope of work. Q2: What are the minimum qualifications to be considered as a contract employee? A2: While we do not set minimum qualifications, we value work experience over degrees. For example, ten years of working in a public health department may be more valuable than a Master of Public Health degree alone. We will contact references and verify your background. Be honest. Q3: Would I be an independent contractor or employee? A3: Third Orders Effects engages independent contractors. As an independent contractor, you would receive higher compensation in exchange for not receiving benefits. You would be responsible for paying all applicable taxes. Q4: How often could I be working? A4: We do not guarantee work. After joining the network, Third Order Effects will contact you if opportunities match your qualifications and experience. If you're willing and able to work, then we'll go forward. If not, then we'll keep you in the network and get back to you when another opportunity arises. We try to keep it simple. |
